The eigth round of successful Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants were announced on Tuesday 14 April 2026 for the Peel region by the Minister for Regional Development, the Hon Stephen Dawson MLC. Ten Peel projects will share in $1.104 million in Round 8 supporting regional job creation in the manufacturing, tourism and hospitality sectors.
The projects include:

| Mitchell’s Livestock Transport | Establish a livestock trailer fabrication and maintenance workshop | $180,000 |
| Murphy’s Irish Pub |
Murphy’s SkyDeck – All-Weather Rooftop Dining, Hospitality, Corporate & Events Activation project | $80,000 |
