The Peel Region is well catered for with a total of 42 Government and private schools, including pre-school, primary schools, secondary schools, education support centres and a community kindergarten.
Its education and training facilities include the Peel Education Campus - Western Australia's first co-located and multi-partnered campus comprising a secondary school (Mandurah Senior College), Challenger TAFE (Technical and Further Education) and Murdoch University.
Murdoch University opened the doors to its first students at the Peel Campus in 2004 in the School of Nursing. Today, Murdoch Peel Campus also offers Business courses.
Challenger TAFE Access Centres have been established, in partnership with community learning centres in Boddington, Waroona and Mundijong, and Peel is a Statewide leader in training for trades. |
